Dorset Humanists Choir – inaugural performance at Bournemouth Natural Science Society
Dorset Humanists Mini Choir, also known as the Hawkridge Singers
Our choir was founded in 2018 and our first performance was ‘Nine Secular Lessons and Carols’ at Bournemouth Natural Science Society in December 2018.
Since then, we have performed at the Bournemouth International Centre (2019 Darwin Day lunch) and at Moordown Community Centre for Yuletide and other events.
We are known as the Hawkridge Singers in memory of Christine Hawkridge who was one of our choristers. She left us some money in her Will which enabled us to buy an electronic piano.
