Pub Social

First Thursday of the month from 7.30pm. No set agenda - just turn up and chat! Friendly conversation over a drink or two at our pub social evening. Look out for the Dorset Humanists signs on the table. We warmly welcome regulars and newcomers. Moon in the Square, 4-8 Exeter Rd, Bournemouth BH2 5AQ, is our usual haunt.

Second Saturday - guest speakers, debates, discussions

Second Saturday of the month, 2.00pm at Moordown Community Centre, Coronation Avenue, Moordown BH9 1TW for a guest speaker plus an opportunity to have coffee and meet other humanists. Browse and borrow books from our excellent humanist library.

Walks

Sunday Walks in Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch, the Purbecks, Jurassic Coast, and New Forest: 10.15am start. Walks are between 4 and 7 miles. Please check Meetup for further details and any last minute cancellations due to weather conditions.

Fourth Wednesday - guest speakers, hotel bar social

Fourth Wednesday of the month, 7.30pm at The Orchid Hotel, 34 Gervis Road, Bournemouth, BH1 3DH for a guest speaker plus chat in the hotel bar afterwards.

We also host seasonal events including Darwin Day Lunch in February, World Humanist Day Barbecue in June, Bournemouth Pride in July, AGM Lunch in March, and a Yuletide dinner at the Marsham Court Hotel. You may also be interested to attend Humanists UK's Annual Convention in various cities around the UK in June, and Humanists International's triennial World Humanist Congress in various cities across the globe in August.
